Who’s right and who’s wrong?
Who in this world of great social and political upheaval, “as in the last days of Noah,” can I commend, and who do I condemn at this time? Do I have any business doing either? Decide for yourself.
Who are we talking about? Shall I name them? Dare I say what is determined for them?
“No man is good,” Jesus says, but there are chosen vessels, weak or strong, to do God’s will in their callings, whether for “good” or for “evil.” God is in control of everything. Here’s what I see, correct me if you know better, and submit your proposed changes. The help is appreciated.
Since Jesus Christ has freed me in soul and spirit to be fair and objective, I believe I’m justly impartial to any earthly group or classification, be it a political party, nation, society, business, community, corporation, institution, nation, province, city, denomination, church, race, sex, color, ethnicity, association, philosophy, ideology, religion, club, international entity, or earthly family.
The Bible says that God is no respecter of persons. It also says that as with God, so with His sons and daughters. Nothing can or must come ahead of, or above, God in the heart of any true believer in Christ. A disciple of Jesus Christ is not of this world, which is full of prejudice.
As a new and reborn man, I can say I’m thoroughly partial to the Lord Jesus Christ, Whose servant I am, and to His Body, commonly called a spiritual fellowship, congregation, or “church.” Thus, I’m partial to men of truth, decency, and honesty, those who choose to live and rule with justice and equity for all, according to God.
I have liked to think I had a gift of discernment of spirits, and several times it has seemed or proven to be so. However, I’ve been wrong about people at times. Many “good” have turned out to be “bad,” and a rare few “bad” have turned out to be “good.” God has taught me that man is essentially selfish, and therefore unstable and unpredictable. He has taught me to “count on nothing and write nothing off.”
Here’s my judgment of a few American citizens in public service, not so much by discernment as by the doings of these people. (The date at the time of concluding this writing is January 2026. Beware of changes.)
Beginning with an appropriate person for the times, I commend the man who is likely the most notable today, US President Donald Trump. Not only because he’s notable, but because he has been right about a lot and proven so by courage and action. Like all men, he has his infirmities and faults. You may not agree with him, but there’s not one human on earth qualified to judge him, not without the Spirit of God, Who is the Ultimate Judge of all.
I want you to know that President Trump is anointed of God for this time, and woe to those who stand against him. He may not be a “Christian” or a “Jew,” any more than Nebuchadnezzar of the ancient empire of Babylon, or Cyrus, ruler of the ancient Persian empire, but he is anointed as they were to do God’s will as His servants.
I’m amazed at this. President Trump’s enemies have tried everything they know to oppose, even destroy him. They’ve pulled every evil stunt they can think of. They have thoroughly searched his life and history and, despite his colorful background, found no guilt in him. They have falsely accused and defamed him, hassling him with “trumped-up” legalities and illegalities. I’d say that some of his most judgmental enemies are those who profess faith in Jesus Christ or have some semblance of Christian influence. How ironic! But that’s the way it is.
Everything they’ve thrown at President Trump has not only failed but often backfired. He has been like few others in history, if any at all. That’s why I start with him. No worshipping here – he’s not to be worshipped. No creature is. Donald Trump is flesh and blood like anyone else and can fall like any man unless the Lord of lords empowers and upholds him. The Lord has chosen and faithfully kept him.
Here’s something else that makes me marvel. Much of the world has hated President Trump for no apparent good reason, so much so that they have a name for the disease – the mysterious “TDS,” that is, the “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”
Why do people love to hate President Trump, or any great man for that matter? It’s because for his power to be effective and succeed, there must be a counterbalancing opposition. Scales must be balanced. Newton’s 3rd law of motion: “Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.” So it is with all those who are among the anointed of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Who will argue or strive with God? Ignorant fools will, and they will all fall, and haven’t we seen them fall lately? Thus says the Lord. God bless President Donald J. Trump.
Setting out to list those who seem to be just and those who are not, it’s soon apparent that the list of the evil side is endless and often changes, mostly for the worse and rarely for the better. Sigh, doesn’t this seem to be so?
I’m only scratching the surface of the millions of public persons who can be named. Of evil ones, I’m sure millions not listed are worse. There are also better ones than those I’ve named or will name as “good” ones. God will judge all men, and does.
Without fail, we will all see the results in the end. And, like it or not, the Scriptures declare that when all is said and done, “all men will receive praise of God.” I take it to mean both good AND evil. Amazing? Yes. Incredible? Maybe. Understandable? Perhaps not now, but there will be a time for that.
See you in the next rambling issue of this message concerning these political, social, religious, spiritual, and governmental matters of the United States of America. Lots to uncover, learn, and consider in this world of chaos, smoke, and mirrors in the doings of men and the Works of God.
Romans 11:33-36 Good News Translation:
How great are God’s riches! How deep are His wisdom and knowledge! Who can explain His decisions? Who can understand His ways? As the Scripture says,
“Who knows the Mind of the Lord?
Who is able to give Him advice?
Who has ever given Him anything,
So that He had to pay it back?”
For all things were created by Him, and all things exist through Him and for Him. To God be the glory forever! Amen.
